Due to the great turnout and feedback from today’s Zoom session, we are excited to offer a second session this Thursday 4/16/20 at 5:00pm.

With Med City Marathon moving to Labor Day Weekend, many runners are readjusting their training plans.

Active PT will again be partnering with you to help you reorganize your training schedule so you can adequately prepare to run your best race. Strength and conditioning reduces overuse injuries by 50%.  Now is the time to optimize your muscle function through strength, power, and endurance. Active PT is offering a second free Zoom meeting to discuss strength training considerations specifically for runners.

During this time, we will discuss the following:

  • How to build a foundation of strength and control
  • Tips on how to progress training in order to reduce risk of injury
  • Appropriate loading, reps and sets
