Alyssa graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017. Prior to graduate school, Alyssa was the captain of the St. Scholastica Dance Team in Duluth, Minnesota. She was a competitive dancer and gymnast for 20 years.
Alyssa’s primary areas of interest include neck/back pain treatment, TMJ pain, headache treatment, hip pain, and dance/gymnastics injury rehabilitation. She knows that each case is unique, and she ensures that treatment plans are individualized for each client she works with. She strives to make treatment collaborative, and values working towards your therapy goals as a team.
She has post-professional training in spinal manipulation, dry needling, women’s health, and rehabilitative exercise. She utilizes a manual based approach to treatment and also incorporates different facilitation techniques to ensure proper muscle activation during exercise.
Outside of the clinic setting, she enjoys golfing, weight training, hiking, cooking, and playing with her dog.
