Christy McCollough, DPT, graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska in 2005. She completed her undergraduate education at Iowa State University in 2002. During her college career, Christy played intramural soccer and broomball. She joined the ActivePT team in 2023 and now provides coverage for other therapists and their patients when they are away.
Christy enjoys treating patients of all ages and stages of life, helping them achieve their personal goals. She is passionate about listening carefully to her patients to truly understand the nature of their specific injury or pain. She finds great joy in leading her patients through their rehab journey and enabling them to get back to doing the things they love.
Christy lives in Rochester with her husband, four children, and their sheepadoodle. She enjoys homeschooling her kids, reading good books, hiking, and spending time with her family.
